I agree. Analog music rendering and tracking can be cost-prohibitive, creatively stifling, and inaccessible for many.
They each have their advantages and I like to think based on what one needs in that moment, one works better than the other. But overall, digital has many more advantages than analog, especially when there are digital plugins that can nearly replicate analog equipment (soundtoys plugins are a good example).
Personally I agree. Digital brought more light to being creative while doing less work, while analog forced musicians to create with more of a workload.
I haven't had the experience of working with analog which gives me the obvious bias for digital. You can produce a sound-alike to analog or something completely new with digital production.
